Echoes of Mercy and Hope Foundation is a Nigerian non-governmental organization that was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on April 12, 2012. The founder and president, Mrs. Fola Soyebo, had a life-changing experience in 1991 when she converted to Christianity. Since then, Fola has been passionate about positively impacting the lives of others. In 2006, she co-founded “Rev3v20” with Mrs. Ibi Fabyan, an outreach program that provides evangelism and healing services to hospitals in Lagos, Nigeria. During this time, Fola became aware of the plight of the destitute and with the help of others, provided accommodation for two families. This experience led her to create the “Echoes of Mercy and Hope Foundation” (EMHF) in April 2012, which focuses on helping the homeless, particularly young females.
This month, Fola Soyebo, the epitome of virtue described in Proverbs 31, is celebrating her 60th birthday. She has been blessed with many children, both biological and adopted and is an evangelist with a passion for leading lost souls to Jesus Christ. Instead of receiving gifts, Fola has requested that all donations be directed to the foundation, as their motto is “Together we can change the world,” and with God’s help and support, nothing is impossible.
