Echoes of Mercy & Hope Foundation (EMHF) is a Christian rehabilitation home committed to providing female victims of abuse and street girls, aged 14-22 years, with a hope and a future. Our multi-dimensional program is designed with a holistic approach that transforms the lives of the girls through scripturally based counseling and discipleship, while providing the girls with formal education. Our aim is to see these young girls through secondary and tertiary education, and enable them to become responsible members of society that have become rooted and grounded in the Word of God, who can then disciple others.

To enable us offer our program to the young girls we serve, we depend on support and donations from individuals and corporate organizations that wish to share in our vision. Echoes of Mercy and Hope Foundation, is a non governmental organization registered in Nigeria (NO 51770) by the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 12th of April 2012.

Who we are

To be a center of refuge & support where the love of Christ is established in the life of young girls seeking direction on matters of their personal life.
The premise for our existence and operations at EMHF is based on fundamental Christian principles. We believe there is only one living and true God, and that the eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity has distinct personal attributes, but yet He is still one. We believe that the Holy Bible was written by divine inspiration, and that it is a record of God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a book of divine instruction. We believe in the new birth as a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to reestablish through rehabilitation and education the purpose of God in the lives of girls who have gone through abuse neglect rejection or maltreatment in the society.

EMHF Youth's have also realized that knowing Jesus, and accepting him as Lord and saviour is Vital. Without Jesus in their Life, they are handicapped to show God kind of Love and commitment to the Less privileged.

Some of the activities the youth engage in at EMHF for the Awareness and propagation of our mission and vision include:

  • Social media awareness through Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn and Personal Blogs
  • Annual fundraiser support staff
  • Partnerships with youth fellowships and churches with vibrant youths
  • National day of volunteering in partnership with selected NGO's and Not- for -profit organizations
  • Youth leaders:

Our Structure

On the 24th of November 1991, Fola Soyebo had an experience that would change the course of her life - she had a real life conversion and gave her life to Jesus. Since then Fola has been consumed and driven by a passion to touch and make a difference in the lives of others.

In 2006, Fola co-founded with Mrs. Ibi Fabyan, “Rev3v20” - an evangelism and healing outreach to hospitals in Lagos,Nigeria. They regularly visit hospitals, pray for the sick, and pay for hospital treatment of patients when necessary. It was while carrying out this assignment that Fola became increasingly aware of the plight of the destitute and with the help of other concerned individuals they were able to provide accommodation for two families. With encouragement from her pastor - Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church, Fola became burdened to intervene in the lives of the less fortunate. Wanting to do more she decided to focus on the homeless particularly young females. These experience gave birth to "Echoes of Mercy and Hope Foundation (EMHF) in May 2012.
